The Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Southern Savo has granted funding for Ravistamo Ltd. for the development of MUONA-Saas based on the law (9/2014) about business development funding. Funding has a significant impact on Ravistamo's competitiviness. The project emphasizes the importance of new, innovative business solutions.

Poor nutritional care among the elderly has a significant societal impact and resolving it needs new tools quickly. High-quality overall care needs new digital solutions, which help the care personnel to conduct and follow nutritional status and make it measurable part of the effective care.

In the project a market study and market entry plan is conducted regarding a SaaS-solution called MUONAhealth. The project includes market study, discussions with UK-based elderly care providers and other parties in the field and creating a market entry plan for the product. The project also includes defining localization measures and creating a piloting plan for the UK.
